Because Xiaomi devices run on official Android TV, you don't need to sideload apps or use Developer Mode. You have full access to the Google Play Store, making the installation of premium IPTV players completely effortless.
Turn on your Xiaomi Mi Box or Mi Stick and navigate to the Apps tab on your home screen. Open the Google Play Store.
Click the search icon and type "IPTV Smarters Pro". Select the app from the results and click Install. Once the download completes, click Open.
Launch the app and select "Login with Xtream Codes API". Enter any name in the first box, followed by the exact Username, Password, and URL sent to you by our WhatsApp support team.
Click Add User. The app will sync all Live TV, Movies, and Series directly to your Xiaomi device. Select a category to begin streaming immediately in full HD/4K!
The Mi TV Stick operates strictly over Wi-Fi and has limited memory. If you experience buffering, switch to a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection and clear the background app cache regularly.
If IPTV Smarters Pro is removed from the Play Store in your region, simply install the "Downloader" app instead and sideload the APK file using the URL provided by our support team.
This is usually caused by corrupted cache data. Go to your device's Settings > Apps, find the IPTV app, and run a System Cache Clear. If the issue persists, reinstall the application.
Live TV requires a constant, uninterrupted stream of data, while VOD can buffer ahead. Ensure your device is connected via Ethernet. If you must use Wi-Fi, ensure you are on a 5GHz network close to the router.
This indicates a video codec compatibility issue. Go to the app's Player Settings and toggle the decoder between Hardware (HW) and Software (SW). HW decoding is recommended for most modern devices.
Live TV and VOD often stream from different server ports. If Live TV works but VOD doesn't, your ISP might be blocking the VOD port. Restart your router or enable a premium VPN to bypass the block. For a detailed walkthrough, view our Secure VPN Setup Guide for IPTV.
Double-check your credentials. The Xtream Codes API requires exact case-sensitivity. A very common mistake is having an invisible trailing space at the end of your username, password, or server URL.
