IPTV Smarters Pro is a premium media player application that allows users to stream live TV, VOD, series, and TV catch-up on their devices. It features a modern, user-friendly interface with built-in EPG support, making it the top choice for organizing and viewing IPTV subscriptions globally.
Search for IPTV Smarters Pro in your device's respective app store (Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Samsung Smart Hub). Click install and wait for the download to complete.
Launch the application for the first time. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions to proceed to the main login selection screen.
Select "Login with Xtream Codes API". You will be prompted to enter your credentials. Enter the exact details provided to you upon subscribing:
Click "Add User". The application will authenticate and begin downloading your channels, VOD, and EPG data.
Once finished, you are ready to stream.
After selecting "Live TV", you will see a list of categories (e.g., UK, USA, Sports, Movies). Select your desired category to view the channels inside.
Select any channel to start playing. You can view the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) below the mini-player. Double-tap the video to go full screen.
If your TV Guide isn't loading automatically via the Xtream Codes API, you can add it manually using an XMLTV link.
From the main dashboard, locate and click the "Install EPG" button at the bottom.
Paste the EPG URL provided by your IPTV service provider into the field and click "Add EPG".
If you don't have Xtream Codes credentials, you can setup Smarters Pro using an M3U URL.
On the initial login screen, select "Load Your Playlist Or File/URL" instead of Xtream Codes.
Enter any name for the playlist, select "M3U URL", paste your long M3U link into the File/URL field, and click "Add User".
If the app crashes or EPG fails to load, go to your device settings, locate IPTV Smarters Pro, and select a System Cache Clear. Restart the app.
Experiencing buffering? Some ISPs throttle IPTV traffic. Enable a reputable VPN to ensure a stable, unthrottled connection. For a detailed walkthrough, view our Secure VPN Setup Guide for IPTV.
Ensure your device is connected to a reliable network. A minimum speed of 15 Mbps is highly recommended to prevent lag during HD streams.
First, reboot your internet router and your streaming device. If the issue persists, your ISP may be throttling the connection. Consider using a VPN or clearing the app cache.
Force an update of the EPG from the app settings. Some apps require you to manually enter the EPG URL (ending in .xml) if you logged in via an M3U playlist instead of Xtream Codes. Learn more in our Ultimate EPG Troubleshooting Guide.
Double-check your Username, Password, and Server URL. Typos are the #1 cause of login failures. Ensure the URL matches exactly, including the http:// and the port number at the end.
If your live TV works but VOD is missing, you may need to check the "Include VOD" box during setup, or manually trigger a VOD refresh in the app's settings menu.
While some apps are cross-platform, many are specifically designed for Android TV and Firestick. Check the Apple App Store for iOS alternatives like Smarters Player Lite or UHF.
This is usually caused by corrupted cache data. Go to your device's Settings > Apps, find the IPTV app, and select a System Cache Clear. If the issue persists, reinstall the application.
Live TV requires a constant, uninterrupted stream of data, while VOD can buffer ahead. Ensure your device is connected via Ethernet. If you must use Wi-Fi, ensure you are on a 5GHz network close to the router.
This indicates a video codec compatibility issue. Go to the app's Player Settings and toggle the decoder between Hardware (HW) and Software (SW). HW decoding is recommended for most modern devices.
Live TV and VOD often stream from different server ports. If Live TV works but VOD doesn't, your ISP might be blocking the VOD port. Restart your router or enable a premium VPN to bypass the block.
Double-check your credentials. The Xtream Codes API requires exact case-sensitivity. A very common mistake is having an invisible trailing space at the end of your username, password, or server URL.
